Hi, I'm Isabel, Hopkins class of 2021. I've learned a lot in Intro to Graphic Design and Animation. For the most part, I learned about Photoshop. I'd never really used it before, and I learned the basics in this class- how to put in images and make shapes, lines and drawings, how to manage layers, rasterize, use tools, set up documents, save and export, and make animations using a timeline. One of my favorite projects was been the UPC Barcode animation. A lot of thought went into making it have a message, and I liked incorporating the barcode and making an animation out of it. I also enjoyed the creative thought and fun process of shooting the trick photography. A challenge has been figuring out how to do exactly what I want to using Photoshop, since I have no experience with it, but challenges are good for you so it's good to have to figure things out on your own sometimes.
